Can’t get only EDIT PRODUCTS tab to appear

    Hi, I want vendors to edit existing products but not create new ones.

    – when only ‘Allow vendors to edit published (live) products’ setting is enabled, neither the ADD NEW PRODUCT or EDIT PRODUCTS tabs appear in vendor dashboard.

    – when only ‘Allow vendors to add/edit products’ setting is enabled, both the ADD NEW PRODUCT and EDIT PRODUCTS tab appear in vendor dashboard.

    How can I get just the EDIT PRODUCTS tab to appear? I’ve checked my permalink settings. This also happens on my test site, so I think it’s a glitch. Thanks.

    Hello Neldad,

    As the add and edit product is only connected within the WordPress dashboard, please take note that this is a limitation for WC Vendors Marketplace (Free)

    I hope for your kind understanding regarding this.

    Hello Mark, thank you for getting back to me.

    Are you sure? If so, the WC Marketplace settings don’t make sense…it shows options that aren’t available.

    I just purchased the Stripe Connect add-on and enabled the setting to only allow vendors to create new products if they connected their account.
    This made unconnected vendor’s ADD NEW PRODUCT tab disappear, and EDIT PRODUCTS tab remain. So they can be separated…

    Can you ask Jamie about this?
