Can't get Next Gen Galleries to display on template php pages
-
Hello,
I’m currently trying to install next gen slideshows or image browsers onto some template pages. I’ve been successful at installing written content and adjusting heading sizes and colors, just as you would in a regular blog post, but for some reason, the short code (e.g.[nggallery id=84], or [slideshow id=84] donesn’t display any pictures like it does in regular blog posts. Is this an issue with next gen gallery short codes not working in php files? Is there another kind of code I can use to get it to work? Would love some help with this.
Here’s an example of the problem I’m running into:

(notice the tiny grey short code sticking out from the left under the large green heading)
And here’s what the code (just the top part where I’m sticking the code) looks like on the back end…I’ve bolded the placement of the short code:

<h1 style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”text-decoration: underline;”><span style=”color: #8dc63f;”>Art Museum Area</span></span></h1>

<h4 style=”text-align: left;”>The Art Museum area is located between the Schuylkill River and Broad Street and between Girard Avenue and Fairmount, and gets its name from the landmark building that sits on the bank of the river. The area also includes the Rodin Museum, and will soon be the new home of the Barnes Foundation. As such, this neighborhood is Philadelphia’s main showcase for famous artwork and exhibits.</h4>
<br class=”blank” />
<h4 style=”text-align: left;”>Besides being a cultural center in the city, the Art Museum area also has a large number of residential sections. Most of the houses are row homes built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and feature the redbrick facades that are such a distinctive part of the city. There are also several larger houses built when the area was still on the outskirts of Philadelphia. These include the Bergdoll Mansion, the Stetson house and the stately home of former local politician Vincent Fumo.</h4>
<br class=”blank” />
<h4 style=”text-align: left;”>The Art Museum neighborhood is one of the quieter and most scenic sections of the city. Bordering on the river and alongside Fairmount Park, there is less through traffic than in other residential areas, and the natural dip in the land toward the river means that even smaller side streets often have distinctive views.</h4>
