Can’t get more than 1 Ad Space to appear

Hi,

I am trying to use the static paragraph before the post and an ad in the sidebar.

I created 2 ad spaces. One named Featured Product and the other name Instructions for Site. I checked the 4 boxes (home, posts, pages, and archives) and made the Featured Product appear only in the Sidebar (chose None for the rest) and I chose above the entries for Instructions For Site (and None for the rest).

Strangely though only one appears. I know that when I click on the 4 boxes that it overrides whatever I have checked for the other ad space. How can I correct this or am I stuck this way because of Google Ad Max rules? (I just want to have the 2 ad spaces).
