Can't get login/register to work

    It appears that no matter which login plugin I use the mail function stops working. Mail function worked fine with 2013.

    I tried using mail-smtp plugins but I could not get that to work either.

    Also when clicking on “Register” it brings up the Login prompt, no matter which plugin I try.

    I would love to use this theme but the above problems are deal breakers.

    Would the fact that my server is using PHP 5.3 instead of 5.2 be part of the problem?
