Can’t get Jeromes Keywords linked in single.php

Hi,
I’m new to wordpress and only have limited knowledge on php.
I want to have keyword tags for every post and found Jerome’s Keywords plug in – I have almost everything working but I can’t get the tags to be linked? They get displayed but they are not linkable.
Can anyone help me please?
Do I have to create a subfolder first /tags/?
