Can't get it to work on multisite

  • Looks like a nice plugin and perfect for what my client needs, but I can’t get it to work on my multisite network. Keep getting this error when we click the donate button:

    Forbidden

    You don’t have permission to access /wp-content/plugins/seamless-donations/seamless-donations-payment.php on this server.

    None of the other plugins do this. Sad.

    This plugin hasn’t been tested for multisite. There are other possible reasons for that error as well, most likely that your hosting provider needs to enable direct .php access to that file.

    But you’re right. I haven’t given any attention to multisite yet. I will tell you that as a many year multisite users myself (I only recently moved off — see https://zatzlabs.com/successfully-migrated-first-site-from-multisite-to-standalone-wordpress-heres-how/), I found quite a few plugins that behaved differently or not at all in multisite.

    Basically, the architecture is quite different. It’s something I’d like to do in time, but there are relatively few multisite users as compared to single-site developers.
