Please set SMTP plugin the following way (as exemplified by gmail account):
Create a gmail account – https://gmail.com or use the existing one. Then configure the SMTP plugin as follows:
From Email: [email protected]
From Name: your_account_name
SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Port: 465
SMTP Secure Connection: SSL
SMTP Authentication: Yes
SMTP Username: [email protected]
SMTP Password: your_account_password
If you receive a message about account hacking or authentication failure notification, please follow this link https://accounts.google.com/DisplayUnlockCaptcha, click ‘Continue’ and try submitting again (more data on providing the access here – https://support.google.com/mail/answer/78754?hl=en)
In case the problem remains, please send a test message on SMTP by BestWebSoft plugin settings page in “Send A Test Email” tab, having checked the “Display log” option using your Google account. Please correct the errors in the log to get mail sent.
