I think it’s not really an accurate test to compare this plugin directly to WP Fastest Cache…that’s kind of like comparing apples and oranges. RSHCP specifically cleans up issues in the head of the plugin and caches only CSS and JS (it is not a page caching plugin) where WP Fastest Cache is designed to be a page caching plugin that also caches CSS and JS.
5 points is actually a lot of improvement considering that RSHCP does not cache the pages of the site.
What would be comparable is if you used RSHCP + WP Super Cache and compared that against WP Fastest Cache. I would be interested to see what your results would be if you compared those.
Keep in mind that even with a page caching plugin and/or RSHCP to optimize your scores and page speed, images have to be optimized, and a number of other items as well. A plugin will never be a replacement for good coding practices, but it can help enhance and give an extra edge.
