Can't get it to work

    Upon further inspection, the file name after upload is heart-a? a? o? .png. So spaces have been added after the special characters but they have not been converted.

    Weird. Its working fine for me and file was renamed to ‘test-aaeoe.png’.

    WordPress 4.5 and PHP 5.5.

    Can you try it on PHP 5.5?
    Because its pretty complicated for me to test it on PHP 7 right now.
