Your upgrade did not complete successfully.

    Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. You may need to try logging into your site to get this to kick in fully.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-running the upgrade manually.

i was in wordpress when i made this selection, not ftp and not my control panel… then when i go into my control panel to ready-to-go-websites it gives me the same error message.

sorry. what you’ve suggested is not working.

    please help further.

    thnx

That really doesn’t make any difference. Your upgrade did not complete successfully. You need to re-run the upgrade manually after you have removed anything that might have blocked the first upgrade attempt.

    changed plubins folder to “plugins.hold”
created folder called “plugins” in wp-content

    went to:
    https://heads-up-live.com/wp-admin/
doesn’t even bring me to the login page to wp-admin
    another error message:

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /mnt/r0520/d07/s00/b02ed8c0/www/heads-up-live.com/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

Don’t post multiple times that close to eachother, please ??

That error is telling you that by renaming the plugin folder, you broke W3 Total Cache. Rename wp-content/advanced-cache.php to wp-content/advanced-cache.old for now, eh?

Did you ever do the manual upgrade? Cause 99% of the time, that’s the problem with your original error.

We don’t delete accounts. Not even for spammers. If you want to delete WordPress off your site, delete the folders and the database.

Okay. Coulda used that info ??

You need to know how to use FTP here, or you’re kinda SOL. YOU need to go in and delete the folder www/heads-up-live.com/wp-content/themes/dusk-till-dawn

ok so i’ve done what you’ve suggested and removed the folder “dusk-till-dawn” in ftp, but none of my posts or pages are showing, even the default wordpress pages from the “view” tab

    error message:

The requested URL /about was not found on this server.

This problem has taken 2 days now, i’m sure there’s something you can do.

    hello again,

i do not know why you have not responded in two days, but i’ve followed your instructions explicitly and the “preview” does not lead to an operating link. The admin page says “0” posts and there is one, pages says “0” pages and there is one.

please help with these errors or delete my account.

    thank you
