Can't get into my blog site through http or admin

  • FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) and delete the wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress folder.

    Thank you – that worked.

    I am having a problem adding posts to my blog. I deactivated the plugins and that did not help it.

    Any ideas?

    Have you tried switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    What is the Twenty Ten theme and where do I find it?

    It’s the default WordPress theme. Try looking in Appearance->Themes.

    Thanks for the info –
    I went to appearance and found the current theme and then available themes. If I switch to one of those – how hard is it to get back to the original theme if it doesn’t work or I don’t like it?
