    I am so frustrated with wordpress right now. I dont like how you can get locked out in an instance when trying to adjust your page. I was trying to add Google Analytics, obviously made a mistake somewhere and now I am locked out of my site. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help before I start pulling my hair out
    this is the error code I am getting

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/content/86/6074186/html/wp-content/themes/BananaTheme/functions.php on line 1040

    Please help. I dont want to delete and start the blog all over again. I put so much work into it already.

  • get a fresh function.php from the Banana theme and upload it to the
    Banana theme folder with ftp or your host’s file manager – this will let you log in
    or
    ftp to site or use host’s file manager to rename Banana theme folder – this will bring up twenty ten theme and let you log in to test

    before working on files, always make a back up to avoid these sort of problems

    Please paste here code of your functions.php from line no 1039 to 1041.

    I got it figured out. Thank you very much for responding… I had to sleep on it to refresh the mind and now I got it.
