Can’t get image to open in new tab.

Hello,
I’m using the Customizr theme and just ran into this issue where I’m trying to have the image AND a link, link to the full size image. Unfortunately whether I pick open in a new tab or change the HTML to “_blank” or “_new” it still opens the image in a frame within the theme. The image can be scaled frmo the frame so it is full resolution but scaled to fit. I want it to open a new tab with just the image.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
