• My website is https://www.aqueenslanderblossoms.com. When I type ‘A Queenslander Blossoms’ into Google, it can find my site. If I type in ‘Queenslander renovation blog’ it can’t find it at all.

I have used SEO best practice, I have verified the site with Google, all my keywords in the SEO metadata reflects ‘Queenslander renovation blog’, it was set up around 2 months ago, I have posted numerous times…

YET STILL GOOGLE CAN’T FIND IT!

Please help…I’m really not sure what’s blocking it.
    Thanks,
    Bek

  • You come up in page 1 position 1 for me!

Perhaps, you’re logged in when you’re searching Google?

Try searching in an incognito window or using a fresh browser?

Thanks so much… it’s fine when I put in ‘a Queenslander Blossoms’ but if I simply put in ‘Queenslander renovation blog’ it doesn’t appear – and I’ve checked around 10 pages deep. My Seo can’t possibly be that bad!! Is there something else that’s going wrong?

I have tried to optimize SEO wherever possible so I can’t understand why it’s not showing up. I really need my site to show using those more generic terms ??

    Thanks!

My Seo can’t possibly be that bad!!!

    Why not? ??

For me, that search comes up with almost 60,000 results. While that’s not that much compared to some other searches, that still means that you need to be better than over 59,000 other sites out there all trying for that same keyphrase.

If you need SEO help I’d advise you go to to a dedicated SEO forum or message board, or engage a professional company to help you out.

Ha ok, thanks Catacaustic – point taken ??
As a topic though it’s pretty niche, and the other search results (esp page 2 onwards) seem barely relevant. I tried to optimise via content, meta tags, Google verification, authorship etc etc. Oh well, maybe it really is because my SEO is poor!
