Hi, I have a number of websites, all using GA4 code. However, one of them I can’t get to work. I am using Site kit and can see the code when viewing source code. However, Google says it doesn’t work. Do you have any idea why? https://www.activelife.org/.

    My code is G-M4G2N1N5QS

I also tested using https://ga4.aimfor.com/ and get the result GA4 installed “NO”

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hello @funasan thanks for getting in touch. Sorry to hear you’re having troubles with Site Kit on one of your sites. As you mentioned I can also see the Site Kit placed code on your site. Is the issue here that you can’t see the data expected in the Site Kit Dashboard?

If not could you please explain what the exact issue is here as well as sharing the information below:

    1. Your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred.
    2. Any screenshot or recording of what you can see.
    3. Do you encounter the same when following the troubleshooting steps here?

Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

Thanks for the quick response Adam! Appreciate it.

I just installed Site Kit and maybe the connection to Google will take a while before things happen? Either way I find it strange that the 3rd party site (https://ga4.aimfor.com/) consider GA4 code as not installed/missing since all my other sites works.

I sent my Site health report to the form you referred to.

@funasan Thanks for sharing the information. As mentioned above, I can confirm that Site Kit has placed the Analytics code and I can’t see any further issues. Can I check that you are seeing data in the Site Kit Dashboard on https://www.activelife.org?

Adam, thanks for helping out. I actually got it to work after Yesterday. I can see traffic now both viewing Site kit dashboard and Google Analytics.

Hi again Adam or who may read this. I checked my site today again and can see that it actually never got to work, although I thought so, se thread above.

Site kit is installed an GA-4 ID is inserted and when looking at my Site kit settings, all seems to look fine. But no traffic registered at all.. And I know we have traffic.

Appreciate your response on this. Thanks.

@funasan Sorry to hear this. Could I please ask you to share the Site Health Information once more so I have an up to date version of this to check.

Could I also check if the data from your Analytics account matches up with the data displayed in Site Kit?

Any screenshot or recording you can share would also be very helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi again, regarding Analytics data it all seems to look the same. I have checked Site kit settings and the information there is also listed as data stream etc inside the Analytics account… Analytics confirms it is not tracking data, i get the message that data collection is not active on my website.

@funasan Can I ask where you are seeing the message stating that Analytics is not tracking data? Is this within the Site Kit plugin or your Analytics account? Could you please share a screenshot of this? You can use a service such as Imgur to upload and share the imae URL here.

Hi Adam, any feedback on my latest post? Thanks.

@funasan Thanks for sharing the screenshots. As the notice is on the Analytics platform side, we are limited to the support we can offer here. I can see from checking your website source code that Site Kit is placing your Analytics code successfully.

At this stage I’d suggest checking the Analytics Help Center for more assistance. If you do have any issues in the Site Kit plugin however, please do let us know and we will be happy to assist.

Ok, thanks, I’ll try there. One idea I had was maybe to delete the plugin and reinstall… will see how I take it further.
