Can't get facebook shares to display post content

    Instead of showing an excerpt from the post, shared posts on facebook only show the word “Related” (which is just after the actual post contents before related posts on the site’s post pages). Can you help me fix this?
    Possible conflicts I’m thinking of are the theme, Rigel, plugins like All In One SEO Pack, Disqus Comment System, WP Edit. I have other plugins but don’t think they are causing the problem. (others are Jetpack, verified not to be causing the problem, UberMenu 3, ReOrder Post Within Categories, and of course Facebook Thumb Fixer)

    Here is an example of a post with Facebook Thumbnail Fixer settings properly set. I don’t see an “excerpt field” anywhere though by the way.

    Hi giorov,

    I don’t think I’ll be able to help you sort that out. It definitely sounds like a conflict with another plug-in or even your theme. The best advice I can give is to disable the plug-ins one at a time until the problem is fixed, then you’ll know which one was conflicting.

    PS if you can’t see the excerpt field, while editing a post click on Screen Options in the upper right to reveal available fields to display.

    PPS: Are you sure Jetpack isn’t the cause? Apparently it displays an alert when activated that there will be a conflict with Facebook Thumbnail Fixer.

    thanks I tried creating a new post without jetpack instead of just resaving na old one and it’s sharing correctly, yay! thank you
