Can't get "edge mode" popup to go away

Just installed W3 total cache and when I go to the settings screen it pops up asking if I want to go into edge mode. If I press cancel/the “x” there is still a white box in a modal overlay that won’t go away.
Tried on 2 different macs, Firefox, Safari, Chrome.
