Can't get date to disappear in Meta

  • I know that by default, this plugin is suppose to hide the use of dates on articles because Google will hide older articles, yet no matter what updates I make, the date wont disappear when my “post” type articles come out. I am using the theme salient which is heavily purchased and cant figure out options to try and remove the date from my search.

    Any suggestions?

  • Were you able to solve it? I am having the same problem and cannot figure it out but with Enfold as a theme. I don’t think it’s theme related. The Enfold support team recommended editing out the date lines in the theme code but I do not believe it’s the correct way to handle it as this shouldn’t show only on the snippet.
    We could comment out the line that displays the date on the WP SEO plugin (if you know where it is, please share)

    I have not found a solution for this yet. I have also received a similar response from my theme “Salient” but am still looking for a solution.
