• This looks like a good plugin, and I have just a couple questions:
    1. Instructions mention “Shiftee”; however that plugin doesn’t appear anywhere.
    2. All shift pages display “Oops! That page can’t be found.”
    3. I haven’t been able to get the Clock In/Out to appear, after following instructions on how to do so.

    Thank you.

    Hi!

    1. Where in the instructions do you see “Shiftee?” I’m in the process of re-branding the plugin, so soon it will be called Shiftee, but for the moment, it is still Employee Scheduler and you need to go to the Employee Scheduler page of your dashboard.

    2. Go to Settings –> Permalinks and click “Save change.” You don’t have to make any changes, just click the save button. That will make the shifts work.

    3. After you have saved your permalinks, you will be able to view shifts and then you will see the clock in/out button. You can only see the clock in button if you are viewing a shift that is assigned to you, on the day the shift is scheduled.

Let me know if you continue to see problems!

    1. After I installed module, on left menu in WordPress backend there are two sub-items under Employee Scheduler: “Employee Scheduler” and “Instructions”. The Instructions link takes you to “Instructions for using Shiftee”.
    2. Permalinks – this resolved the issue, thank you.
    3. Clock in/out goes away after clocking out once. Is it possible to allow an employee to clock back in after clocking out, for example if they make a mistake, or take a break, or come back to work later, and need to clock back in during the same shift?

Thanks very much for your helpful and timely reply!

For now, employees can only clock in and out once. If they make a mistake, they can leave a note in the “shift notes” field, and admins will receive a notification about the shift note and can edit the shift to change the clock in/out times accordingly.

I do plan to add the ability to record breaks quite soon – hopefully in the first quarter of next year.

    I see, thank you.

Hello, is it possible to create shifts which repeat for multiple days? Or does each day’s shift need to be entered manually?

    Thanks!

You have to enter each day’s shift manually. The Pro version includes a Bulk Shift Creator that lets you create a whole bunch of shifts at once.
