Cant get API key to activate Askimet

  • Hello Everyone:

    I am having issues getting an API key to activate Askimet from my dashboard. When i click on the get API key link, i am taken to https://wordpress.com/profile/ and i see links to sign in or register.

    When i try to register by filling the form, an error page shows. How do i then get an API key for Askimet.
