I can’t seem to find my problem and any resolve.

I’ve followed several sources which offer step-by-step resizing of gallery images. Even the one where you go into the gallery images, select all, choose “resize images”, click “Apply”, choose the sizing of choice (originals were 600×600 and I chose to go to 800×800), the progress bar shows as “working” and at 100% it is finished. But when done, the sizing of the image remains the same size as was originally 600×600.

I removed a cache plugin, and via FTP, removed any remnants of cache on the server, but still, it won’t change the image size.

    Any suggestions?

@lmd99 – If you are trying to re-size an inserted display then you will need to change that specific display’s customization settings for the thumbnails being used in it. Just click on the preview image to re-open the IGW modal window and go to the customizations accordion panel to make the changes; Save; and, Update the post/page.

Then go under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous to clear the image cache … you may also need to clear your browser cache(s) and/or use an anonymous window to see the changes immediately.

If you are trying to re-size the images under Gallery > Manage Galleries those new sizes will not be used for existing displays until you replace them and in most cases clear the caches noted above as well.

    Thanks!

Sorry, I don’t understand the point about “re-open the IGW modal window”.

@lmd99 – When using the IGW (“green button”) in the TinyMCE editor’s visual tab to insert displays you can edit those specific displays by clicking on the preview image of the display to “re-open the IGW modal window” … or some might call it a “pop-up” if that is a better description. My apologies for not being more clear earlier.
