I read up that Site Kit could help automate the the process of placing the AdSense Code snippet on my website. However, whenever I trigger the setup, it brings me to my Google Ad Sense page (outside of WordPress) and asks me to paste the code myself onto the headers of my website. How do I reset this process or trigger the automated setup? I’ve uninstalled Site Kit as well but the issue persists. Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out @lovefoti. Site Kit can place AdSense code on users site if they wish. From checking your site URL I can see that it has done so already. It looks like on this site Site Kit remains active.

To assist you further with this feel free to share your Site Health information. and I can check your set up, including your AdSense status. Please also include details of how you’re being redirected to AdSense within Site Kit. I suspect what you may have encountered is the AdSense account setup page, which can arise if the Google account you used to set up Site Kit doesn’t already have an AdSense account.

Thank you for your fast response @jamesosborne! I’ve filled out the Google form you linked above. I’m unsure what to do next if the AdSense Code is on my site. I can’t seem to finish the setup for AdSense and Site Kit is redirecting me to resolve issues before it can run properly on my website.

Thanks for the update @lovefoti. From reviewing the Site Health information you kindly shared, I can see your site isn’t ready to show ads yet, see below:
    adsense_account_status: client-getting-ready
    adsense_site_status: none

I can’t seem to finish the setup for AdSense and Site Kit is redirecting me to resolve issues before it can run properly on my website.

Are you seeing the below? If so this is just a notice to mention you suggest that Site Kit has placed AdSense code on your site. This is normal, and I can confirm that Site Kit has placed AdSense code. If the below if what you’re directed to, this is normal. It’s just a matter of waiting for a response from the AdSense team for your site review.

So to summarize, you’re in the waiting stage, awaiting a reply from the AdSense team. You’ll find more information on this below.

Let me know if you have any further questions on this.

Alright, thanks for this @jamesosborne! Really helpful as I thought Site Kit has an issue. I’ll wait for the review stage to finish on my site then. Cheers.

No problem. Happy to assist. Hopefully you won’t have to wait too long for an update from AdSense. I’ll close this support topic in the meantime. Best of luck!
