• We’re new to podcasting and just had our feed accepted by iTunes. We want to try using the PowerPress Subscribe Page, but cannot discover where to access it. The instructions on the Blubrry web site state “To create your page, go to PowerPress settings and select the ‘Appearance’ tab.”

We do not have an Appearance tab under the general PowerPress Settings, nor have I been able to find such a tab anywhere else.

We’re using a Custom Podcast Channel; this was the only way we could get our Theme and Feed to work together properly. I can’t find an Appearance tab under the Podcast Channels settings, either. Can you please direct me to the right place?

    Thank you!

Thanks, Shawn – Based on the terminology on the Website tab, I thought that by selecting the “Sermons” page, a link to the new Subscription Page would be created on the sermon page underneath the player:

Add a link to a page to explain to your audience how to subscribe to your podcast.

The following link will be added to the Subscribe on iTunes and Subscribe via RSS links below the player.

I never did see a link below the player.

I followed the steps you outlined above and I now have a stand-alone “Subscribe to Podcast” page. I still don’t see a Template (or a link) anywhere. Am I supposed to?

The Template is what we used to generate the subscribe page. You can now edit the “subscribe to podcast” page and re-word in your own words.

I’m going to have our copywriter go over this section of the plugin to reword to avoid this confusion in the future.

Thank you, Angelo. I appreciate the time that you and Shawn spent on this. I found the page on the Blubrry website with the Subscribe shortcodes. With this info, along with the example you linked to (Geek News Central), I think we can create a Subscribe page we’re happy with.

Yes, Angelo – I appreciate you following up. Our Subscribe Page is in place and working fine. Thank you!
