Can’t find new GA4 property

  • Hi!

    I think Google Analytics updated their software to a newer version. When I authorize my plugin it can only find the other sites (properties) in my Account created before GA4.

    Is this a know problem or is it something on my end?

  • I have the same issue. How can we add GA4 properties to GaInWP?

    Same problem here… extra complication (maybe) I have a Multi-site install.

    Google did change things. Here’s how to fix it and make it work with GainWP again:

    1. First, delete any new v4 properties you created.

    2. Create a new property, click “Show advanced options” before clicking next. See this image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/q5xp59202pt3a14/sadv.jpg?dl=0

    3. Next, enable “Create a Universal Analytics Property”, then fill in the URL, and select “Create a Universal Analytics propery only”, then click next, then finish up as per normal. See this image:

    @50m Thanks for your suggestions… Mean while I found that when you create the property in Analytics you get the option to create both the GA4 and UA property and Google connects them for you.
    When it is done like that it also works with GainWP…
