Under the Dashboard. My home page has only the following line:

    <p>Home place holder</p>

There IS a real home page, though.

Where is my homepage? Is this what people call a Metabox? I googled metabox and metatag and haven’t got very far yet.

I hired a person to setup the site for me, while I am trying to learn maintaining it and updating it.

    Thanks.

The home page usually is a list of posts. If you need to make changes you will need to edit files like, index.php, loop.php etc.

To set the home page to something else WP->settings->reading.

It is hard to trouble shoot when your site is down.

    Kmessinger,

I didn’t realize that there is a typo in my link.

    This is the corrected one:
    InaMei Homepage

    Hope it works this time.

I still haven’t figured out where to find the hidden homepage yet. All other pages are visible, and I can edit them.

The “home” page is not really a Page. It is created dynamically and you would edit it by changing theme options. Also by changing css and php using a child theme.
