Can't find large files uploaded via Filezilla

  • Honestly unsure of the version, but as I just installed & began using it yesterday, I’m assuming it’s the latest.
    Anyway, I’m using filezilla to upload large files to my WP site and they ARE uploading. I’ve tried placing them in various folders but still cannot located them to put on one of my pages.
    HELP!

  • WordPress doesn’t scan directories for media. You can try using a plugin called “add from server” which will add another option to the media menu.

    I downloaded the plugin and tried to use it. It found the file, but it was the ONLY item in that folder highlighted in pink. When I clicked the FILE checkbox, all files INCLUDING my Storyline file were checked. However, “The server closed the connection without sending any data.: is all I got.
    I was assured WordPress would be able to open/display the file, but I’m worried Articulate Storyline (.story) files aren’t recognized.
    Any ideas, anyone?
