Can't find header.php

    As I wanted to add a meta tag in the <head> section of my default webpage, I proceeded to Dashboard>Appearance>Editor.
    I couldn’t finder the header.php option under templates. Why is that so? How can I resolve this problem?
    When I typed in the header.php url in my address bar, it shows the file cannot be edited.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
