• okay…this is going to seem like a really stupid question, but i cannot for the life of me find a couple of extra “>” symbols in my code.

    can someone please take a look at the following URL and tell me where i should be looking in the template files? the first one appears just below the blog header bar, and the second appears just above the WordPress link at the bottom of the page.

  • It’s not too hard to be blind to typos and code errors. One > is in your footer.php nearly at the top of the file, and the other is in index.php or page.php right around <div id="content" class="narrowcolumn">

    thanks. turns out that none of those extra symbols were on my local files, so a quick upload took care of it.
