    Hey

As soon as I start the install.php file WordPress says the it can’t find the database. Though it says username and password are OK. It’s pretty odd because I’m about 100% sure I filled in the right Database name (which is “sand_wordpress”).

I don’t know what to do now. Hope someone knows *-)

Did you actually setup the database on the server you set your website up on? If you have PHPMyAdmin or Cpanel you can set those up pretty easily.

Yes I did set up the database with Cpanel.
I also let Cpanel check it and it detected no errors.

(sorry for my bad English, I’m Dutch)

    See this guide:

I don’t really understand. My English is not that good.
I think is namen that the name before the _ must be the same.
    If so, I’ve done that.

    Name database: sand_wordpress
    Name user: sand_admin
    password; [*******]

I think I know why it doesn’t work. I received an e-mail two minutes ago.

For names: you have to give the “wordpress” part and the “admin” part and cPanel is adding automatically the “sand_” part.

The important part in the tutorial is:
On you MySQL page in cPanel you have to click on the “ADD USER TO DATABASE” button. Just look at the pictures and you will understand!
