Can't find code to change "posted by" text, help!

  • Hi,
    I’ve been trying to adjust the “posted by” and “posted on” text for my website: scheppersonline.be but I can’t seem to find where to change this… I’ve searched in the index.php, functions.php, content.php etc… But can’t find where to adjust this. Any help? I’m using the accessPress Staple theme.

    Different themes put that “byline” in different areas in different template files. You might also try searching more templates that are contextually specific to a single Post…

    • single.php
    • content.php
    • content-single.php

    (These files above are specific to a single post.)

    …or any “content-EXAMPLE.php” file if they exist in the theme. If you still can’t find out where “Posted by” exists, you may wish to do a search on all theme files until you find it ??
