Just installed this plugin and am trying to follow the plugin’s own installation instructions. They say “Go to Settings > Socials Ignited and fill in the social profiles that you want.”

I do not have this option. There is nowhere in Settings > Socials Ignited that gives any options at all to configure any social networks. Likewise there is nowhere to “select the icon set” as instructed either. Nor am I finding the 54 social icons the plugin says are included.

Did the plugin change and the docs just weren’t updated?

Would love assistance with this. By all appearances this seems to be the only plugin that does what I want, but I’m just not able to get it to work using the instructions provided on the page.

    Hi there,
Indeed the documentation needs some refresh!

Once you assign the -= CI Socials Ignited =- widget to a sidebar, you’ll be able to enter social information along with some appearance options.
To add icons click on “Add Field” at the bottom of the widget and then insert the Icon code and its Link URL. Icon codes can be found here, type them exactly as they are shown (with fa- in front), e.g. fa-facebook. You can also drag and drop the boxes to rearrange the icons.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the update. I’m getting closer! =)

What are the round icon codes as they are used used in the Berliner theme demo? Do you have those handy? I’m not sure how to create them, there don’t appear to be any round codes on that shared site.

You really should update and correct the documentation. It currently advertises a built-in social link configurator and selectable icons, and that is no longer true. That’s unfortunate, because those are two major appeals of the plugin, and I wonder why they are gone now?

Nevermind, figured it out. Just had to set background colors. All good! Thanks!
