• Hi all,
I am designing a blog that will display a lot of photography and I haven’t find answer to my problems!

1- WordPress strip off all the metadata of the pictures, this is really anoying as it destroy all the point to put them on a photo! I can’t find a way to force WP to keep my uploaded picture as I upload it!

2- I already spend a lot of time to write the metadata (title & caption mainly) n every of my photos, how can I have WP to fill the title & caption field by itself when I upload them? (we are going to talk about 200-300 photos per weeks, that a lot to write twice!!!)

3- I have found a lot of plug-in to get photos from a facebook page to WP, but I have never found the other way around! uploading them on WP and have WP creating a FB gallery and upload them there! Is it possible to do?

    My set up is:
    -WP 3.2.1
    -Thematic 0.9.7.7
    – Child theme for my own design
    – File Gallery plug-in (not sure if I keep it).

I do have some programming experience, and I should be able to make a small plug-in if it doesn’t require a lot of technical things (I also don’t have much free time on my hand).

    Thanks in advance

    Hi again,
Sorry for the double post, seems like I can’t edit the original post!

It looks like for the first point, the mistake was coming from me. I don’t know what I have changed but now I can see the meta data on the uploaded file.

I am still looking for the 2 other points (mainly the 2)

Have you looked at NextGEN gallery plugin – it does not seem to strip off the meta exif data.

It shows the exif data in the admin backend and can be made to show exif on the live web site pages.

NextGEN gallery does what I need for that, but sadly require too much to do the use I need of the gallery. (and does not allow the google sitemap reference)
