    Hello,
I have amr user and AMR users + set up. I have an Advanced custom field field on the users page called mm_type for membership type which is a select option with 4 options.
I am able to the option selected to the user listing but I need to add a select option so admin can filter by selecting one of the option.
I have tried to follow https://wpusersplugin.com/related-plugins/amr-users-plus/#filtering but can’t find the edit filtering option under configure a list >> filtering.

    Any pointer would be appreciated

That screenshot is a little old. There is now a tab called ‘Filtering’ from the ‘Configure a list’ screen. Do you have amr-users-plus installed? or are you seeing message “Requires amr-users-plus functionality” when you click on the filtering tab?

    Hi,
Yes I have AMR users plus installed, I can see options there but not sure what to do after, the options are Manage fields for all lists | List level settings | Rebuild cache now | Edit headings | View

    Olivier,

OK below that you should see a set of tabs:

Fields&sort, Format, include Exclude, before&after, filtering

    Click on the filtering.

    Thank anmari,
I have this tab fine but may be I am expecting something different from the plugin.
Here is what I am trying to do:
-I have a field from ACF called members status, with 2 options, active and inactive.
This is stored as a user meta and I can add it as a column to the users list /wp-admin/users.php
What I want to do is add an option to filter the list by choosing one of the 2 options.

I this something your plugin does? I have purchased the plus version

    Hi Olivier,
I’m sorry about the slightly old screenshots. Because there is a new version coming soon which is taking up most of the time, I have held back on updating the screenshots until it’s all stable. I’m sorry if this made it hard for you to understand how to select the filtering type for your new fields. I have updated the filtering instruction page somewhat and have used your example of an ACF field member status with values ‘active’ and ‘inactive’ for some of the screenshots. Please make sure you have users with data for that field. see https://wpusersplugin.com/3434/on-demand-filtering-on-a-new-field/

    HI Anmari,
thank you for your new screen shots which are great.
I have it working but it is not under “Users”, it is under “Users -> Users: Detail”, is that the way it should be?

    Olivier,
The viewing of the lists all appear under the ‘users’ menu. The ‘user details’ is the default name of the one of the lists. You can change the names.

Please explore the settings, try different things, it’s the best way to learn and see what can be done.

If something is confusing after you have experimented with it, then include a screenshot so I can see what you are referring to.
