What version of the plugin are you using? This is a known bug that should be fixed in the latest version (1.7.1).

I think the files you are looking for are:

    components/points/includes/logs.php
    components/points/includes/functions.php

The ladder has been moved to components/points/includes/points.php in the most recent version, though.

This is why it is usually advised not to edit a plugin directly. You could instead request for some changes to be made. In some cases it might be better to copy the part of the code you want to change into a custom plugin, and then modify that copy.

Those strings might be from WordPress and not from this plugin.

I think maybe the plugin didn’t upgrade properly. You should try reinstalling it from a fresh download.
