can’t even get a simple menu to work. why would I buy advanced features

I am trying to get a basic menu to appear, but it just jumbles all the items along 6 rows. All I want to start with is a basic line of items in my sidebar.

Giving up, I tried to utilize some of the other things that it says come with the basic install, and they are not even working.

No help to do it, and they are not things I want anyway, I’m ready to uninstall it.

p.s. oh, and the expanded flyout is going to the bottom of the block in the sidebar. I see its extending past the edges of the sidebar, so i know its not a constraint issue. You’d think a pay for plug-in would be more refined. …oh well
