Can’t enter wp-admin after uploading

  • I’ve had all my wordpress files in a separate directory for sometime, but now I’ve made them the main files instead having them in a separate directory.

    Now, I can’t login to edit my theme files or anything else. I try to get to the wp-admin section, but I always hit an error page.

    Am I supposed to recode something in order to get it working again? Everything’s been uploaded (they’re the exact same files I’ve had before); am I supposed to re-install everything?

  • I believe the instructions for moving the site directory suggests clearing cookies as well as some other “fixes”… time to hit the “Search First” box ‘cuz I don’t know the link.
