Can’t Enable xmlrpc

  • Hello,

    I need to enable xmlrpc for a while to reconnect my website with WordPress App for iOS, but I can’t figure out how to do this. As I understand my xmlrpc is now blocked. But I can’t find where.
    I can’t see blocking rules in .htaccess, I have no any snipped code. I tried to deactivate all plugins but that doesn’t help. Is there any way to enable it or find where it’s disabled?

    No, not by default. I just installed a spanking-new WordPress 6.1.1 site (default theme, no plugin installed) to test… and XLMRPC is enabled by default. Test for yourself here: https://ive-cicada-fufu.instawp.xyz/xmlrpc.php

    Your host, your theme, or a plugin you have installed may be blocking it.

    UPDATE:

    Sorry, I missed the word “my” in the quoted line, so I supposed you meant XMRL is now blocked (by WordPress by default) ??

    Hi @gappiah
    I understand that it’s enabled by default. But mine is blocked and I can’t find what blocking it. This is not my host. Not plugins, I tested all them. Not a snippet and .htaccess.
    I use storefront. May it block it?
