Cant Enable Comments

    Hi,
    the easiest way to use this snippet is to go here https://raw.githubusercontent.com/simpliko/wpadverts-snippets/master/enable-comments/enable-comments.php copy all content starting from line 8 and paste it in your (child) theme functions.php file.

    Additionally since the last update you might need to go to wp-admin / Classifieds / Options / Core / Types / Classifieds panel, check the “comments” checkbox and save settings.

    To check if its working go to wp-admin / Classifieds panel, edit one of the Ads, in top right click “Screen Options” button and see if it has the comments radio button if it does then the comments are available for the “advert” post type.

    Finally, note that the snippet will enable the comments automatically only for ads posted after adding the code snippet. For the existing ads you will need to enable the comments one by one from wp-admin / Classifieds panel while editing the ads.

    The problem was with my Divi theme that by default wasnt activated “show comments on posts” (theme options>design>post design
