Can't enable comments

    I had to disable comments a while ago due to a spam attack and now I want to re-enable them and it’s not happening. I tried changing themes but no go. What happened? It says at the bottom of posts Comments or closed or nothing on my current theme MH Magazine lite.

    Any ideas?

  • I have the same problem in mi website:

    Have you tried re-enabling them on a post-by-post basis? When you toggle the global ‘Allow people to post comments on new articles’ check-box, it toggles them for future posts only. Try Posts > All Posts > Quick Edit to enable comments per post and see if it helps.

    I’ve tried everything. Although I think it might have returned to normal right after I posted my message. Weird! Ghosts in the machine.

    Good. Maybe you fixed it but had a caching issue and didn’t see results right away.

    Could be. I use IE when I think there’s a cache issue since I don’t use IE. ??
