• I created a new role called user admin. I added the capabilities I wanted that role to have and over all everything is working ok. With this role though, the user admin can’t embed iFrame code in to a Post or Page. I have tested the role with different iFrame code (YouTube, custom form, Vimeo) and WordPress is actually stripping out some of the code. I thought maybe checking the Unfiltered html box would fix this problem but it doesn’t. Am I missing a box to check to allow this role to embed iFrame code?

Just to mention, the regular Admin role can embed iFrame code without a problem, it is only this new user role that I created that is having the problem. This is also a single site WordPress install, not a Multisite.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

It is enough to turn on ‘unfiltered_html’ usually for the single site WordPress in order WP stops sanitize html code. Show the screenshot of your new role and example of “iframe” code you try to insert. I will check what is going behind the scene.

    Regards,
    Vladimir.
