I’ve trolled the internet for a long time looking at all types of solutions. I’ve played around in ‘inspect element’ trying every css trick i could think of, but nothing works.

In the sidebar (using Custom Sidebars plugin), where you can see the 4 social media buttons, all of them have a white background that conflicts with the main background of the site. I can’t figure out what is causing it.

It’s not actually just the background of the image, as in the tag I can set the inline style to show a custom background color, for example black, and it will show a black background immediately surrounding the image, but around that there is still another space that shows white. I don’t understand what is extending the space around the image that can’t be controlled or targeted.

    Any insight appreciated.
