can't edit Widgets in WP 4.0

After upgrading to WP 4.0 all widgets are frozen.
Deactivating Cgmp resolves the problem. tested all other plugins in combination with this one to see if 2 might be stepping on each other. All indications are that cgmp is the problem… or, WP 4.0 is the problem.
