Cant edit website… at all

im totaly new to wordpress so im sure this will be an easy fix for someone who knows what there doing (sorry)
i got wordpress and wamp yesterday (after 2 days wandering around in the darkness of visual studio). It was going great until I tried to add an RSS feed and a twitter stream. then i got locked out from making any changes (the little blue edit symbols next to everything disappeared) and i could no longer switch between pages using the menu on the page. after a while trying to figure out what was happening i closed chrome and open my page again (having saved several times). on re opening my site had returned to the basic template, my pages had disappeared with just the title still showing on my homepage. my pictures still show as recently uploaded but there not on the actual page. But i could edit now so i started a fresh. beginning by adding my twitter feed and rss. now im locked out from editing again. i have disabled the RSS and Twitter plugins, closed chrome, cleared my cache. But im still locked out. so at the minute i have nothing worth saving . i dont even care about loosing my site at the moment, i guess that could be something i have messed up whilst i was trying to fix it. i just dont understand why i cant edit and rebuild it, any ideas?
