I’m facing a very annoying problem.
When i edit text of my txt widget and save it…still the old one appears…both on the site as well on the text widget…
I use wordpress 2.3.2 and am facing the same problem with both FF and IE7
I’ve tried clearing cache of my browser. It worked well till some one week back.

    thanks

I have exact same problem with wordpress 2.3.3 even though I edited and saved changes but the old data still appears on text widgets.

UPDATE: I had to deactivate ALL plugins I am able to save the edited widgets and the new data appears. At least it worked but isn’t happy because I have many plugins :-/

Thanks Unimike, I’ll try deactivating and reactivating all my plugins. Will update.

Reactivate the plugins one at a time, testing each time, until you find the one that caused the problem.

    Thanks Otto42 and unimike,

It worked. I deactivated them all and reactivated..
Doesn’t seem to have any problem with any one in particular plugin.

    Thanks

    Here’s an important update…
though this process works but for once only…
that mean everytime you’ve to edit your text widget deactivate all plugins and reactivate them….
need any correction, go through all over it again..
    It’s a real pain…

moveye: Err… what? That doesn’t make any sense. Text widgets are not dependent on deactivating and reactivating your plugins. Instead, one of your plugins is broken and causing this problem.

    -Deactivate your plugins.
-Reactivate them one at a time.
-After each one, edit the text widget to say something different.
-If it saves properly and shows on the page, then go to the next plugin.

One of your plugins is causing the problem. You have to find which one it is. And yes, it is one plugin in particular.
