    Hi,

The plugin works, it post our blog posts on our Facebook page. The settings we use in the plugin are:
“Attach your blog post” and with “{POST_EXCERPT}” and it looks great. The problem is that you can’t edit the posts on Facebook.

Usually you have that option when pressing the little gray arrow in upper right corner of a post on your Facebook page. Now you only get the options a normal user will get. Maybe there is a setting in the Facebook App that I don’t know of?

The second thing I wonder: Are there any way to filter away shortcodes when the posts are being published on our Facebook page? We write about movies and most posts shows the poster or cover of the movie in the beginning of the post. We use NextGen Gallery for those and that plugins shortcodes. But in the post text under the images on Facebook, there is the shortcode showing.
    See this for example https://www.facebook.com/filmparadiset/posts/10153832478685209

    Kind regards,
    Ramrod

    Hi,
I’m still wondering why I can’t edit published posts on facebook, like to correct a misspelling or something other. Right now I need to delete the post on facebook, correct it in WP and repost it. Very annoying.

    Kind regards,
    Ramrod

    Hi Ramrod,
I am also using this plugin. It works great for me.If you want to post your edit post make “Default selection of auto publish while editing posts/pages” as “Yes” in settings.

Yeah, it’s working good for us too. But that setting isn’t really what I’m asking about, even if it’s a workaround.

When you click POST in WordPress, it post it on our website and on Facebook as it should. On facebook it uses the except as a text to the post, as I said in the OP.

But when I see I might misspelled something in that text, I want to edit it on Facebook. But you can’t, there isn’t any option to do so when you press that little gray arrow in the right corner of the post.

I would also like to know this – currently having a lot of troubles with this! We’re wanting to edit the post on Facebook to tag people involved in it with no luck. Hoping someone can help us figure it out – seems like there isn’t usually a response on this forum when it comes to problems with the plugin ??

Seems that the 1.4 update fixed this problem. You can now edit your posts on Facebook, so you can tag people or change some misspellings or add some other stuff you want.
