Can't Edit or Delete Events

Using Version 1.0.4. in WP 3.8.1. Twenty Twelve. Can not edit or delete events. There is no button to do so. Deleted entries do not save. Read that Next Generation Gallery may conflict so disabled it but still no buttons.
