Can’t edit my header or footer

    Hello, up until recently I was able to edit the header and footer of my website just fine. But, I recently had to make some changes to it and found out I can no longer edit these using the elementor plugin.

    Could anyone tell me what would be causing this issue?

    `To troubleshoot this issue:

    Follow the steps in these guides:

    Make sure that your page isn’t to Elementor Canvas layout which removes headers and footers.

    If this is not the case, to rule out the possibility of a plugin or theme conflict, please deactivate all your plugins (besides Elementor) and see if it helps. If it solves the issue, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.

    If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WP theme such as Twenty Sixteen and see if it makes any difference.

    Make sure you are using the most updated versions of Elementor, WordPress & your theme. Sometimes it isn’t apparent that there is an update available. Go to Dashboard > Updates and click the Check Again button to be sure.
