• Dear,

I imported the football matches via .csv file, but since the season is endend it’s time to edit the match results and standings.

But I can’t edit my match results. Is it a known bug? And is there a solution for this problem?

If I edit the match results, enter the numbers and click on save edits. After that the numbers disappear.

Thanks in advance for a solution and the plugin!

I fixed this one by choosing for sport: other instead of football.
But with the shortcode [matches league_id=1] I tried to show all the matches of league 1 for the home team. But this shortcode shows only the matches that are still to come.

Is there a solution for that?

Well… It was a problem before, but shouldn’t be now. Did you just recently download Leaguemanager or have you had it for a while?

If possible, deactivate and then delete Leaguemanager and download it again. I’ve updated a number of files, but haven’t pushed up the version just yet because I have two nagging problems I’m trying to resolve first. In the meantime, I’m uploaded files that have changed and can be released, so your problem might be solved.

If you don’t want to experiment, could you give me a temp login/pass? I can jump on your install and see what it needs to get it working.

Thanks for the fast answer and support.

I downloaded version 3.8.8.5 and just updated to 3.8.9 with WP version 3.8.3
But that didn’t fix the problem to have all the matches of 1 team on a page.

Then deactivated, deleted and installed the plugin again, but that neither helped.

There are some things that need to be moved around in the matches shortcodes. I’ll get something back to you later today…

Are you still having issues with updating matches?

If you can, download the file below and replace it on your system, it should fix the problems with the shortcode:

    shortcode.php

That file should go in the LeagueManager folder in the ‘libs’ folder, replacing the current shortcode.php file.

When you use the matches shortcode, all matches should show up unless you limit the list to a match day (fixture), by team, by group, etc.

No, I fixed the updating matches problem myself by choosing for sport: other instead of football.

But the shortcode problem isn’t fixed.
I use this one: [matches league_id=1 mode=home] for showing all the matches of the home theme. But that doesn’t work.

I uploaded your file. And it is better now, because now I have matches of past and future weekends. But it doesn’t show all matches and it only shows one match of the home team.

You can see it here: https://bit.ly/1iGafnc under tab “wedstrijden”. Home team = Salaam A

The crosstable is working. But the table under also shows other teams and not all matches of the home team from the calendar are shown.

That’s the problem, the ‘Home Team’ functionality isn’t entirely clear to me, but it doesn’t seem to work as you are thinking it does (keep in mind, I didn’t write the original plugin, so I’m not 100% clear on all aspects or functionality, but I’m getting there…).

I haven’t quite figured out what ‘Home Team’ means yet as it’s an option on the Team Page. What you are looking for is just results for the home team of a particular match and handled totally differently. When you put mode=home in the matches shortcode, I’m not clear what it’s even going to do since the ‘Home Team’ check is something I’ve never used since I haven’t followed the code to see how it’s supposed to work.

If you’ve built a page for each team, you can get what you want using this shortcode:

    [matches league_id=1 team=TEAMID]

It’s possible the purpose of the ‘Home Team’ was for individual team websites so that it’s easy to show the ‘local’ club’s matches, etc., but I have to dig further into that. Let me know if the above shortcode works for you.
