Can’t edit links (blogroll)

  • Hi.
    I can’t edit links (not in posts but in links, those in the sidebar, blogroll)

    When clicking “Update Link” I get “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.”

    When I “try again” I get “Link not found.”

    This occurs both on my localhost devblog and on my publick one.

    Any Ideas?

    Adding is not a problem. The problem is editing any info in a link, for example changing the description or move the link to another category.

    The error message appears when clicking the “update link” button.

    I have an error where things just aren’t updaing and all new links to the blogroll go to the default. Very weird!

    I have the same problem. Has anyone found the solution to this? I get “are you sure you want to do this?” and then am sent back to the edit page. Adding and deleting are ok, but not editing.

    Anyone found a solution to this yet? I have the same problem and my setup is very basic:

    WordPress version: 2.86

    Installed and active plugins: Contact Form 7

    Theme: Constructor 0.6.4

    User: 1

    Pages: 12

    Posts: 0

    As you can see, it’s very basic at the moment!

    Perhaps it’s just a file permissions thing resolved via ftp?

    No resolution on this one yet? I’m seeing the same thing. Site is a bit bigger than chris’s, but not extremely so. Just updated to version 2.9, but it’s had this problem since I first installed it (2.8.something I think it was).

    I can’t believe people are still having this problem! I cannot edit or add any new links. These are links listed in my left sidebar. Every time I try to add a new link or edit an old one, it says that the link was added, but when I checked, it was not.

    I recently upgraded to WP 2.9.1. I never had this problem when I used 2.8.4. Now, I wish I could go back! I even tried deactivating all of my plugins, but this did not work. Is there a workaround to this issue until its resolved. Seems like its a bug in the newest version. Are the WP techs working on it, I wonder?

    If anyone can solve this issue, I sure would appreciate knowing about it!
