Can’t Edit Home Page

Hello! I’m trying to edit the home page of this website for a cleaner design, but every time I try to alter anything, as soon as I hit update it gives me the error, “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
At the moment I’m trying to perform edits using the WordPress Stage Site. Could that be what’s causing the errors?

@jnashhawkins It should be! The staging site is done using the plugin WP Staging
